The unsatiable desire for validation leads a man to lose his grip on reality and in the very thing that defines him.

Henk, arrogant yet intuitive, drifts between his swaying, yet passive, affection for Anika and his darker desires for the enigmatic, Jade. Their characters blend into him and into each other as they drift in and out of illusion and reality. Truth, becomes a matter of personal perception and actions a matter of control over irreversible consequences.

PLOT

Bikes, knives, sex and love. Sweat, muscle, power and pain.

A man gradually loses his identity and grip on everyday reality as he shifts players on his personal chessboard of choices. One path leads to redemption, another to annihilation. He takes both. Unable to keep his grip on the shifting consequences of his actions, he plunges deeper into delusion. One woman appeases his relentless need for validation, while the other entices his thirst for self gratification. He can't keep both.
